GRIS NEZ VESSEL TRAFFIC SERVICE REPORTS THAT 40 FRENCH FISHING VESSELS INTEND TO HARASS AND/OR HINDER PROGRESS OF VESSELS ENTERING DOVER STRAIT TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEME (TSS) NORTH EAST LANE BEGINNING 101000Z OCT FOR 24 HOURS OR MORE. PROTEST ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE CONCENTRATED BETWEEN VERGOYER NORTH BUOY (50-34.7N 001-13.5E) AND MPC BUOY (51-06.1N 001-38.2E). HAZARDOUS BEHAVIORS MAY INCLUDE STEERING COURSES OPPOSED TO LANE DIRECTION AND/OR MANEUVERING ZIGZAGS ACROSS LANE WIDTH. GRIS NEZ TRAFFIC ADVISES VESSELS HAMPERED BY DRAFT OR TOW TO DELAY ENTRY IN THE DOVER STRAIT TSS DURING THIS PERIOD. 2. CANCEL THIS MSG 121000Z OCT.
