AEGEAN SEA. DNC 09. AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 202231Z JUL WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 6.8, IN 36-59N 27-34E. A TSUNAMI MAY HAVE BEEN GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE ALONG SOME COASTS. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
