A MERCHANT VESSEL REPORTED COMING UNDER ATTACK IN 13-29N 043-01E AT 311005Z MAY, APPROXIMATELY 60 MILES NORTHEAST OF BAB EL MANDEB IN THE RED SEA. THERE IS A HIGH PROBABILITY OF ATTACKS IN THIS AREA FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 24-48 HOURS. WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR PIRATE ACTIVITY AS WIND SPEEDS ARE FORECASTED TO BE 5-15KTS WITH WAVE HEIGHTS OF 2-4 FEET THROUGH THIS PERIOD. CAUTION ADVISED.
