WESTERN SOUTH PACIFIC. SOLOMON ISLANDS. TSUNAMI WARNING. AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 131236Z APR. PRELIMINARY MAG 7.4, PRELIMINARY LOCATION 11-30S 162-06E VICINITY OF SOLOMON ISLANDS. A TSUNAMI HAS BEEN GENERATED WHICH COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO COASTS AND ISLANDS IN THE PACIFIC AREA. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
