A MERCHANT VESSEL WAS REPORTEDLY ATTACKED IN 09-40S 045-05E AT 050456Z NOV, APPROXIMATELY 730 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SEYCHELLES. THERE HAVE BEEN FOUR PIRATE EVENTS IN NOVEMBER IN THIS AREA AND 14 IN THE LAST 30 DAYS. ONI ASSESSES THERE IS A HIGH PROBABILITY OF ATTACKS IN THIS AREA FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 24 TO 48 HRS. WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR PIRACY ACTIVITY THROUGH THIS PERIOD. CAUTION ADVISED.
