TWO VESSELS WERE ATTACKED BY PIRATES IN 14-40N 054-12E AND 14-30N 054-06E ON 12 NOV. BOTH VESSELS ARE SAFE. HOWEVER, IT IS CONCLUDED THAT A PIRATE ACTION GROUP IS CURRENTLY ACTIVE IN THIS AREA. ALL VESSELS ARE THEREFORE STRONGLY ADVISED TO MAINTAIN ANTI-PIRACY WATCHES IN THIS AREA, APPROXIMATELY 100 MILES EAST OF THE INTERNATIONAL RECOMMENDED TRANSIT CORRIDOR. ALL SUSPICIOUS OR UNEXPLAINED CRAFT MOVEMENTS OR PIRACY ATTACKS SHOULD BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO MSCHOA, PHONE: 44 192 395 8545 AND/OR UKMTO BAHRAIN, PHONE: 97 150 552 3215.
