A MERCHANT VESSEL REPORTED COMING UNDER FIRE IN 00-29N 063-12E AT 241307Z NOV (APPROXIMATELY 554 MILES NORTHEAST OF PORT VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES). THE VESSEL WAS ATTACKED BY FOUR ARMED MEN ON BOARD A SKIFF WHO FIRED SHOTS AT THE VESSEL'S WHEELHOUSE AND ACCOMMODATION. MARINERS ARE WARNED TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS AREA AS IT WILL REMAIN HIGH RISK FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 24-48 HOURS. WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN CONDUCIVE TO SMALL BOAT OPERATIONS DURING THIS TIME. CAUTION ADVISED.
