AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 180947Z DEC WITH A
PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 6.5, IN 08-18N 137-42E.
A TSUNAMI MAY HAVE BEEN GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE
POSSIBLE ALONG SOME COASTS. TSUNAMI WAVE
HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A
SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR
SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
