AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 151114Z NOV WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 8.1 VICINITY 46-07N 153-05E (KURIL ISLANDS). IT IS NOT KNOWN IF A TSUNAMI WAS GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CAN NOT BE PREDICATED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL. ETA'S OF INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL ARE AS FOLLOWS: A.
