EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC. ALASKA. AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 192055Z OCT WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.4, PRELIMINARY LOCATION 54-07N 159-06W. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE FOR COASTS LOCATED WITHIN 162 MILES OF THE EARTHQUAKE EPICENTER. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
