EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA. VENEZUELA. AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 212132Z AUG WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.4, IN 10-24N 062-42W. A TSUNAMI MAY HAVE BEEN GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE ALONG SOME COASTS. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
