AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 181010Z AUG WITH A
PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.1, LOCATION
14-54S 166-54E IN VICINITY OF VANUATU. POSSIBLE
TSUNAMI GENERATED WITHIN 300 KM OF EPICENTER.
TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY
BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR
SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
VESSELS IN VICINITY ARE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION.
