1. EARTHQUAKE WITH MAGNITUDE OF 7.2 OCCURRED
IN 23-06.00N 121-18.00E AT 180644Z SEP.
TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURROUNDING COASTS.
2. TSUNAMI ACTIVITY IS FORECASTED TO START AT
THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
A. TAITUNG 22-42N 121-12E AT 0656Z.
B. HUALIEN 24-00N 121-42E AT 0657Z.
C. CHILUNG 25-12N 121-48E AT 0731Z.
D. KAOHSIUNG 22-30N 120-18E AT 0749Z.
E. HOMEL 24-12N 120-24E AT 0933Z.
3. TSUNAMI WAVES REACHING THREE METERS ABOVE
THE TIDE LEVEL ARE POSSIBLE AND MAY BE
A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS
FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
