PHILIPPINE SEA. PHILIPPINES. DNC 11. EARTHQUAKE WITH PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.7 OCCURRED IN 08-36.00N 126-24.00E AT 021437Z DEC. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE FOR COASTS LOCATED IN AREA WITHIN 1000 KILOMETERS EPICENTER, TO INCLUDE PHILIPPINES, INDONESIA, PALAU AND MALAYSIA. TSUNAMI MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
