SEA OF JAPAN. JAPAN. 1. EARTHQUAKE WITH MAGNITUDE OF 7.3 OCCURRED AT 161437Z MAR. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE WHICH FOR COASTS LOCATED IN AREA WITHIN 300 KM OF 37-42N 141-42E. 2. TSUNAMI ACTIVITY IS FORECASTED TO START AT NIIGATA 38-00N 139-00E AT 1809Z. 3. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
