1. DUE TO THE NATO SUMMIT TO BE HELD IN ISTANBUL,
THE TRAFFIC OF COMMERCIAL VESSELS AT THE TURKISH
STRAITS ON 27 THRU 29 JUN IS REGULATED
AS FOLLOWS:
A. TRAFFIC WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR ALL VESSELS
CARRYING DANGEROUS CARGO (OIL TANKERS,
LPG TANKERS OR SHIPS CARRYING SIMILAR DANGEROUS CARGO).
B. PASSENGER SHIPS WILL CONTINUE TO PASS THROUGH THE
STRAITS AT ALL TIMES DURING THE SUMMIT.
C. VESSELS OTHER THAN THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE WILL CONTINUE
TO PASS THROUGH THE STRAITS AS BEFORE, BUT THEIR TRAFFIC
MAY BE SUSPENDED DUE TO SECURITY REQUIREMENTS IN THE
STRAIT OF ISTANBUL DURING THE SUMMIT.
