- Underwater operations
- Divers or remotely operated vehicles are working below a vessel that cannot easily move out of the way.
- Cable operations
- A ship is laying, burying or repairing a submarine cable, usually along a stated route.
- Offshore wind farm
- Construction or maintenance at an offshore wind farm: turbine foundations, jack-up vessels and export cables.
- Anchoring and fishing prohibited
- Ships may pass but must not anchor, trawl or put gear on the seabed — usually because of cables, pipelines, moorings or ordnance.
