TSUNAMI WARNING.
AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 081739Z DEC WITH A
PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.8, PRELIMINARY
LOCATION 10-42N 161-24E. A TSUNAMI MAY HAVE BEEN
GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVES ARE POSSIBLE ALONG SOME
COASTS. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED
AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE
DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL
WAVE ARRIVAL.
