VOLCANIC ERUPTION HAS OCCURRED IN THE TONGA
ISLANDS AT 150427Z JAN. A TSUNAMI HAS BEEN
GENERATED WHICH COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO COASTS
AND ISLANDS OF CALIFORNIA, OREGON, WASHINGTON,
BRITISH COLUMBIA, SOUTHEAST ALASKA, SOUTH ALASKA
AND THE ALASKA PENINSULA, AND ALEUTIAN ISLANDS
AS EARLY AS 151500Z JAN. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS
CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES
WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER
THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
