THE WORLD METEOROLOGICAL ORGANIZATION (WMO) HAS BEEN INFORMED BY THE
INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT THAT THEY STARTED A SECOND BROADCAST
OF METEOROLOGICAL FORECASTS AND WARNINGS VIA SAFETYNET, THROUGH ARVI,
ON 1 OCTOBER 1998. THE SECOND SCHEDULED BROADCAST TIME IS 1800 UTC
(THE ORIGINAL ONE BEING 0900 UTC). INDIA IS THE COORDINATOR FOR
NAVAREA/METAREA VIII.
