1. DUE TO CONDITIONS OF ARMED CONFLICT, MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO AVOID THE SOMALIAN PORT OF MOGADISHU UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
2. A SOMALIAN FACTION BROADCASTING VIA RADIO ANNOUNCED MAY 23, 1992 THAT COMMERCIAL SHIPS WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ANCHOR AT MOGADISHU PORT UNLESS CARRYING RELIEF AID.
3. THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTS OF SHIPS BEING FIRED UPON WHILE ATTEMPTING TO UNLOAD IN THE MOGADISHU PORT AREA.
