On August 13, 1986, the fishing vessel Jenny sank at the pier at Manasquan Inlet, Point Pleasant, New Jersey. U.S. Coast Guard Group, Sandy Hook, deployed 500 feet of boom in an attempt to contain an estimated 800 gallon spill of diesel oil from the sunken vessel. USCG district 3. 2. COMMODITY: DIESEL OIL.
