On December 17, 2024, at approximately 0700 central, the M/V Dalma discharged a reported 650 gallons of marine gas oil (MGO) into the Neches River, Beaumont, TX, during heavy fog (NRC#1410146, 1419153,1419202). MGO discharged has an API of 29.2 and a very low sulfur content (<0.1 by mass). No response was conducted due to weather conditions. On December 18, MSU Port Arthur contacted NOAA SSC to request fate and trajectory. OSROs are on site.
