1. On January 7, 1988, the 55-foot fiberglass fishing vessel InNuendo, carrying an estimated 900 gallons of diesel fuel, was reported aground off the jetty of Old Harbor, Block Island, Rhode Island. Initial attempts to refloat the fishing vessel failed. Winds were from the west at 35 knots and deteriorating. USCG district 1.
