On September 8, 2019, the USCG received a report that Lift Boat M/V KRISTIN FAYE was partially submerged due to a punch through of the ocean floor with the lift boats port leg in Main Pass Block 64. 700 gallons of diesel and 200 gallons of hydraulic oil onboard with a reported 55 gallons of diesel discharged into the waterway resulting in. 3 mile sheen at time of report.
