1. On January 12, 2018, the USCG notified the Alaska SSC of a planned oil and hazmat removal operation from a moored vessel in Gastineau Channel, Juneau, AK. An estimated 3,000 gallons of oil and oily mixtures will be removed from the semi-permanently moored vessel. A discharge has not occurred. The USCG Sector Juneau requested a Resources at Risk.
