The USCG at MSO Anchorage received a report the evening of March 15, 2000 that a propane cylinder aboard the M/V SeaLand Kodiak docked in Kodiak seemed to have a damaged valve and was leaking perceptibly. Not for navigation. The name is read automatically from official navigational warnings; a common name can belong to more than one ship, and a message may describe work the vessel is doing (cable, survey) rather than something that happened to it. Mariners must use official NAVAREA broadcasts and their national MSI service.
