LOBO Grand Bay Discharge; Venice, LA, USA.

1. On July 12, 2020, the USCG Sector New Orleans IMD called the NOAA RRO about an estimated 4bbl crude oil discharge at LOBO Operating Grand Bay Tank Battery #12. The cause of the discharge is determined to be a broken valve. The source is secured, most of the discharge is contained with a hard boom.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: OIL.
