1. On 09-FEB-2023, USCG Sector LA/LB contacted their NOAA SSC to request trajectory support for the 43’ sunken F/V MATADOR off Redondo Beach, CA. The vessel reportedly sank at 0200 hrs on 08-FEB, 1/3 mile offshore, in 170’ of water, with an estimated 50 gallons diesel on-board (max potential 150 gallons).
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 150 GALLONS.
