1. USCG Sector Honolulu is working with the Hawaii Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response Office, the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the vessel owner to remove potential pollution from a 94-foot luxury yacht that ran aground in Honolua Bay in Northwest Maui on February 20. The USCG has initiated emergency consultation with NMFS and USFWS for pollution removal activities.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 5 GALLONS.
