Loss of Pressure in Crescent Mainstream Pipeline, Gulf of Mexico. Gulf of Mexico. 1. On March 10, 2023, the USCG received notification that a 16-inch and 20-mile-long section of the Crescent Mainstream pipeline lost pressure. The line was shut in and an overflight observed a possible 1 mile by 300ft slick in the vicinity of the pipeline. The USCG requested fate and trajectory. 2. THREAT: OIL. TAGS: PIPELINE. 3.
