Spill from Bulk Transfer Pipeline in Barataria Bay, Lafitte, LA.

1. On July 8, 2023, Hilcorp Energy reported a release of approximately 20bbl of oil from a bulk transfer pipeline in Barataria Bay. An approximately 5-acre island of marsh and adjacent waterway was impacted.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 840 GALLONS. TAGS: PIPELINE.
