Release of Alkyl Ether Sulfate from Chemical Facility; Fieldsboro, NJ. 212 Delaware Ave, Fieldsboro, NJ 08505, USA. 1. On June 18, 2024, the USCG Sector Delaware Bay notified the NOAA SSC of a 2,000-gallon release of alkyl ether sulfate from the Stepan Chemical Co facility in Fieldsboro, NJ. An unknown amount was released into a ditch that drains to the Delaware River. 2. THREAT: CHEMICAL. COMMODITY: ALKYL ETHER SULFATE (OS 370). MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 2000 GALLONS. 3.
