Tropical Storm/Hurricane Debby.
Big Bend region, FL.
1. On August 4, 2024, NOAA ERD opened this hotline to capture information on the track and development of tropical storm Debby which is forecast to become a hurricane and make landfall between Tampa and Apalachicola, Florida. USCG Seventh District will establish an area command tomorrow (Aug 5 2024) at 0800. The NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator will join Coast Guard at the area command.
2. THREAT: OTHER. COMMODITY: HURRICANE RESPONSE.
