Produced Water Leak from Pipeline; Dauphin Island, Alabama.
Dauphin Island AL, USA.
1. At 1100 local time, Sector Mobile Alabama notified the local NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) of a dull sheen, approximately 10 miles long, originating from a pipeline carrying produced water, which may consist of oily water mixture. The SSC on duty was notified. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) requested a trajectory to prepare for possible shoreline impacts.
