Mystery Oiled Shoreline at Holly Beach; Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
USA.
1. On July 10, 2026, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) received reports of approximately 1 mile of oiled shoreline in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The source of the oil is unknown. USCG is investigating and has hired an OSRO (oil spill removal organization) to conduct clean up. NOAA is assisting remotely.
