1. The SSC received a report on the morning of 12/16/03, from MSO Memphis that the tug JERRY JONES had struck a dike on the right descending bank of the Mississippi River. The accident took place Monday night (12/15) and had releases an unknown amount of diesel. Following an overflight on 12/16, a pocket of diesel was found behind a dike downstream of the incident. This pocket contained app. 250 gallons of diesel fuel. The Tug Jerry Jones was patched on 12/16 and was sent on for repairs
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: #2 DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 250 GALLONS. TAGS: COLLISION.
