FV Golden Dragon; Padre Island, TX. Padre Island, TX. 1. At least two shrimp boats have been reported in distress or have grounded off the South Texas Coast in the wake of Hurricane Emily. The GOLDEN DRAGON was in-tow, but had to be abandoned due to increasing winds and heavy waves the night of 19 July. 2. THREAT: OIL. TAGS: GROUNDING. 3. POSITION 27.475N 097.274W.
