On 11/21/05 at 0730 local time the T/V Sperchious grounded on the south coast of Puerto Rico, outside Bahia de Guayanilla. The vessel is not leaking at this time. The vessel has a cargo of 50K metric tons or 13.4M gallons of #6 fuel oil. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: #6 FUEL OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 13400000 GALLONS. TAGS: GROUNDING. 3.
