M/V Vagabond; Virgin Gorda, BVI. Virgin Gorda, BVI. 1. The M/V Vagabond, a 180 foot coastal freighter, is aground and leaking in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. The vessel is reported to have 20,000 gallons of diesel onboard. Vessel location is 18 degrees 24.3'N by 64 degrees 27.7'W. This is off Round Rock Island at the SW end of Gorda I. USCG San Juan requested trajectory assistance from NOAA ERD regarding whether the diesel might affect US waters. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: DIESEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 20000 GALLONS.
