1. USCG contacted the NOAA SSC for support on a small pipeline spill in Grand Bay, LA. The release was discovered and the pipeline was shut in on January 14 (Sunday), but weather conditions prevented a prompt visual assessment. In the event that the release proves larger than initially thought, the USCG has requested weather and trajectory and trajectory support.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE OIL . MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 840 GALLONS. TAGS: PIPELINE.
