1. On February 24, 1986, an estimated 1,000 gallons of terpene waste products were spilled at SCM Organic Chemicals during a power failure which allowed the product to overflow a containment berm and saturate the ground surrounding the site. Heavy sheens and fumes were reported in the Trout River as a result. USCG district 7.
2. COMMODITY: TERPENE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 1000 GALLONS.
