Ocean Fresh Fish Company; Nile River, Fort Bragg, California. Nile River, Fort Bragg, California. 1. On September 10, 1986, approximately 1,000 gallons of industrial strength chlorine calcium hypochloride, and 30% inert materials spilled during annual maintenance at the cannery the Ocean Fresh Fish Company, at the mouth of the Nile River near Fort Bragg, California. The piers around the cannery were immediately secured for the entire tidal cycle. USCG district 11. 2. COMMODITY: CHLORINE (INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH), CALCIUM HYPOCHLORIDE.
