1. In June 1988, oil was observed in the navigable waters north of Logan Airport. U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Office (MSO), Boston, investigators traced one source to an outfall from Logan Airport. Marsh grasses immediately adjacent to the outfall were different from the marsh grasses in the surrounding area. USCG district 1.
