1. On July 18, 1988, the wooden fishing vessel Naiad was reported aground on Halfway Rock, off the coast off Rhode Island's Briggs Point. Initial attempts to refloat the fishing vessel failed. The vessel carried an estimated 600 gallons of diesel fuel. USCG district 1.
2. COMMODITY: DIESEL FUEL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 100 GALLONS.
