1. n April 7, 1989, a 40-foot container van carrying 267 gallons of Lasso, a herbicide/defoliant also known as paraquat, burst into flames following an accident on Highway 55 in New Bern, North Carolina. USCG district 5.
2. COMMODITY: LASSO (A.K.A. PARAQUAT). MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 267 GALLONS.
