1. A release of hydrochloric acid (HCl) at unknown concentrations was reported in a wetland water-filled depression in the Bolsa Chica wetlands, near Long Beach, California. Laboratory results indicated high hydrogen (pH 2 - 3) and HCl present. The depth of the saline or sea water in the depression was reportedly 1 foot. USCG district 11. Keyword: none.
