1. On August 6, 1998, USCG MSO Hampton Roads received reports of unused, expired plastic medical materials washing ashore on the beaches of North Carolina. The plastic materials included syringes, pill cases, I/V bags, and trauma dressings. Almost all the materials had had their markings removed. USCG district 5. Keyword: none.
2. COMMODITY: UNUSED MEDICAL WASTE.
