Enighed Pond; St Johns, U.S. Virgin Islands. St Johns, U.S. Virgin Islands. 1. On February 4,1999, Virgin Island police discovered and reported an overturned oil tank trailer adjacent to Enighed Pond. MSO San Juan responded and estimated that the overturned tank, with a capacity of 8000 gallons, spilled approximately 1000 gallons of diesel into the pond. Most of the oil has pocketed on the north and west sides of the pond where response personnel contained the fuel with boom and pumped out the pocketed oil. USCG district 7. Keyword: boom. 2.
