Spill off California Coast; Davenport, California. Davenport, California. 1. At approximately 1500, 06/05/99 an oil slick 80 feet wide by about 1/2 mile long was sighted by a vessel 30 nm off Davenport, California. Weather at the time of the incident was light and onshore winds. No responsible party was identified. A very light sheen of about 1/2 nm long and about 80 feet wide was formed.
